Was it just me or did June feel like it was only three days long? We kicked off the month with a celebration of Charliemadison's 9th anniversary and treated our family and friends to a fun event. June was all about family time and we are so grateful for all the get-togethers, fabulous meals, and fun adventures.
Take a peek at June inside our studio and home.

“Looking for a gift with meaning? Look no further! This mother-daughter team knows what they are doing, taking online shopping to the next level. The packaging is so professional and can be shipped with a note directly to the recipient for an awesome gift! And the best part…the meaning behind each bracelet - so special!” ~Gina P.
June Behind the Scenes: Our Personal Faves
Wendy’s June Favorites:
- Excited we got to spend time with family at the Delaware beaches celebrating my sister-in-law’s birthday with a fun surprise BBQ, then a party bus full of friends that zipped off to an oceaside bar for drinks and dancing to an 80’s alternative band. Plus, all the ladies in the group (and many of the men) were rocking their Charliemadison bracelet stacks (check out the photo below) - so much fun!
- In the Kitchen: We absolutely loved this summer pasta - Tagliatelle with Corn, Tomatoes, “Onion-Bacon” and Basil. Jenny Rosenstrach is a recipe genius and hers are constantly on rotation in our house. I subbed spaghetti for the tagliatelle and used vidalia onions - even without the basil, it was so delicious. Next time, I will use the red onion and fresh summer basil!
- Watching: Our daughter, Charlotte, got us watching an older series - White Collar - on Netflix this month. We are absolutely hooked and love that the episodes are a bit shorter and there’s a bit of humor sprinkled in.
- Grateful for: The extra family time we’ve had this month to enjoy Madison and Charlotte, along with their boyfriends, Zach and Kevin. Between a few fabulous days at the beach, a night of dinner and drinks at Barcelona Wine Bar in Washington D.C., and a lovely Sunday stroll through the Dupont Circle farmer’s market, we felt incredibly blessed to have that special time.
Books I Loved In June
During the summer I tend to reach for a lighter mix of genres - summer escape themes, adventures, and maybe a rom-com or two. It’s always a good reading month when your favorite authors release a new book and June included not one, but two of my favorites - Ruth Ware and Emily Henry. The first three on the list were my top faves in June.
One Perfect Couple by Ruth Ware
The Five Year Lie by Sarina Bowen
Things We Do in the Dark by Jennifer Hillier
The Other Family by Wendy Corsi Staub
No One Can Know by Kate Alice Marshall
Madison’s June Favorites:
- CMO Summer Collection: June was a busy month finishing designing, photographing, and perfecting the new 2024 Summer Collection. Oh when I tell you this collection is stunning, you better believe it. One of the pieces I designed is truly my most favorite thing I have ever made...I'm obsessed! Wendy and I both could not be more excited to share the entire collection with you - sneak previews are on the way!
- Celebrating Our Shop Anniversary: As many of you know, we celebrated our 9th Shop Anniversary at the beginning of June. It has been so rewarding to grow and build this company alongside my mom and watch the evolution of Charliemadison over the last 9 years. I could not be more proud to run Charliemadison with Wendy!
- Pancake Bowl: My newest breakfast hyperfixation has been making a pancake bowl. I found this idea from Tik Tok of course and have been making it the past few weeks. Think of it as a super fluffy pancake that fits into one bowl. You just mix up the batter in a microwave safe bowl, cook it for about 2-3 minutes, and you’ve got yourself one giant fluffy pancake. Linking a recipe in case you are interested in making it - I promise you won't be disappointed!
- Yellow Cafe in Georgetown: I’ve got another Washington D.C. restaurant recommendation for you! My boyfriend and I went to Yellow, a French/Middle Eastern cafe in Georgetown, and we both cannot stop talking about it. Prepare to wait in a bit of a long line just to order and try to watch everyone in the restaurant for a chance to snag a table, but I promise it is well worth the wait. We tried one of their Wood Fired Pita’s with Smoked Lamb Shoulder and their Batata Tots which was this cube of sliced layered potatoes that is then deep fried. This food was beyond incredible, I was left in awe after that meal! We didn’t take any photos of our food until we were almost finished so I’m including a photo from their Instagram just to show you all how amazing these tot’s looked! Cannot say enough great things about this place!
- Grateful For: As Wendy mentioned, we had lots of family time this month between a fun Saturday at a local winery with my parents, a beach trip to Delaware to visit our family and celebrate a birthday, and a weekend in Washington D.C. full of good eats, drinks, exploring, and lots of laughs. Thankful we got to have many fun family moments throughout the month!
