Together with the lovely gals at R. Riveter, we designed five military bracelets – one for each branch of our Armed Forces – Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, and Navy. These beauties were in the works for months and they are available exclusively through R. Riveter’s West End, NC store and in their online shop.
It wasn’t easy to capture the spirit of each military branch on a string of gemstones – decades of history, sacrifice, and deep pride are not things you can see, but are only carried in your heart. We started with inspiration from the colors of each military seal and branch uniform - but because we chose natural gemstones for the bracelets, we knew they would not be exact color matches to military uniform colors and seals. Instead, we chose stones in colors that were symbolic of each military branch and our hope is that your bracelet is a meaningful and constant reminder of your military hero or your service and an anchor to what’s most important in your life.
Each bracelet is slipped inside a special keepsake gift box along with a card, printed with words from the military branch song. We’ve heard stories of what they mean to you – wives who wear them every day while their husbands are deployed; gifts given at promotion ceremonies; proud mamas who wear them as everyday reminders to keep their military son or daughter close; and brand-new recruits who are proud of their decision to serve their country.
